HOT CONSERVATIONHOT CONSERVATION

Both hot and cold corrosion should be avoided if operating temperature are correct and adequate to the different sections of the boiler.

In order to avoid cold corrosion in parts of the boiler during forced inactivity of the plant, we suggest the use of a hot conservation system: it consists of the injection in the boiler of either water at a temperature between 60 and 90 °C or low pressure steam; these are to be provided by the Customer.

This injection must be in such a position as to generate a natural circulation and consequent uniformity of the temperature.
